The role of Receptionist at Bergstrom Enterprise Motorcars is an exciting part-time opportunity designed especially for individuals interested in starting a career in the automotive industry, including high school students looking for after-school employment. This position is instrumental in delivering excellent guest service and facilitating smooth operations at the dealership. The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for guests, welcoming them warmly upon arrival and directing them efficiently to the appropriate department or team member. The role involves managing incoming calls professionally, providing information, and taking messages to ensure seamless communication. Key responsibilities also include providing critical administrative support such as data entry, filing, and handling correspondences that assist various departments within the dealership. Maintaining a clean and inviting reception area, offering refreshments to guests, and ensuring their comfort while they wait is a vital part of the job. This role requires collaboration with sales, service, and parts teams to ensure guests’ satisfaction and smooth coordination. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with one Saturday off per month. Compensation starts between $15.00 and $18.00 per hour depending on experience, with an additional $2.00 per hour paid for every Saturday worked. Job Duties
- Warmly greet guests as they enter the dealership and direct them to the appropriate department or team member
- Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner, taking messages and providing information as needed
- Provide general administrative support, such as data entry, filing, and handling correspondence, to various departments as needed
- Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk and waiting area
- Offer guests refreshments and ensure they are comfortable while they wait
- Collaborate with sales, service, and parts teams to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction
