Job Requirements
- Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field work routines
- Communication skills required
- Ability to read a limited number of words and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
- Ability to write and speak simple sentences
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, notes, letters and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, the general public and other employees of the organization
Job Qualifications
- Completed at least four years of high school
- Some college preferred
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and policy manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence clearly
- Ability to recognize similarities and differences in words and numbers
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with residents, visitors, and team members
Job Duties
- Project a professional and welcoming demeanor
- Handle incoming calls and dispatch messages via two-way radio
- Assist residents with photocopying and mailing needs
- Log pharmacy prescriptions accurately
- Maintain key check-out logs
- Review and stay informed about daily LIFE Calendar events
- Ensure seamless communication and support within the community
