This position is for a Part-Time Receptionist based at the Athens, GA location. The receptionist role is crucial in serving as the first point of contact for clients and visitors at The Hairy Hound. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a keen attention to detail to manage front desk responsibilities efficiently. This position involves scheduling grooming appointments, managing calendars for groomers, and assisting with customer inquiries to ensure an excellent client experience. The expected working hours are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and three Saturdays each month, offering a balanced schedule for part-time employees.

In addition to customer service excellence, this role requires proficiency in office management tasks, including maintaining a clean and organized front desk and grooming areas. The receptionist will also utilize specialized scheduling software, 123Pets, to manage appointments accurately. An essential part of the job is the ability to comfortably handle dogs of varying sizes, emphasizing the hands-on nature of this role in a pet grooming environment.
