Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a receptionist or clerical role preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in basic office software
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and physical activities such as bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a receptionist or clerical role preferred especially in healthcare settings
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in basic office software
Job Duties
- Answer and route incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally
- Greet residents, families, visitors, and vendors and direct them appropriately
- Maintain a friendly, calm, and professional demeanor at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service with compassion and empathy
- Assist visitors with questions and basic information
- Maintain a neat, organized, and welcoming lobby and reception area
- Provide clerical assistance to the Administrator and management staff as requested
- Perform typing, copying, faxing, filing, and other office tasks
- Distribute mail, paychecks, meal tickets, and other materials as directed
- Forward mail for former residents according to facility procedures
- Follow all HIPAA privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information
- Attend all mandatory in-services, meetings, and training sessions
- Perform other duties as assigned
