In addition to customer service duties, the receptionist will perform various office tasks such as typing, copying, faxing, and filing, as well as distributing mail, paychecks, and meal tickets. The role also emphasizes compliance with privacy regulations and participation in mandatory training sessions. Job Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and physical activities such as bending, kneeling, and reaching
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Answer and route incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally
  • Greet residents, families, visitors, and vendors and direct them appropriately
  • Maintain a friendly, calm, and professional demeanor at all times
  • Provide exceptional customer service with compassion and empathy
  • Assist visitors with questions and basic information
  • Maintain a neat, organized, and welcoming lobby and reception area
  • Provide clerical assistance to the Administrator and management staff as requested
  • Perform typing, copying, faxing, filing, and other office tasks
  • Distribute mail, paychecks, meal tickets, and other materials as directed
  • Forward mail for former residents according to facility procedures
  • Follow all HIPAA privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information
  • Attend all mandatory in-services, meetings, and training sessions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
