Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- basic life support (BLS) certification
- one year relevant experience preferred
- ability to manage multi-line phone systems
- strong interpersonal skills
- availability for evening, night, and every other weekend shifts
- organizational skills
- ability to interact professionally with patients, visitors, and staff
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one year experience with multi-line phone system preferred
- basic life support (BLS) certification required
- crisis prevention intervention (CPI) preferred

Job Duties
- Appropriately answers and responds to incoming telephone calls in a courteous and customer-friendly manner
- provides requested information or direction to callers
- manages and routes incoming mail and carrier deliverables
- greets and responds to visitors in a customer-friendly manner
- manages visitors sign-in and gives visitors badges
- directs and assists visitors and patients to the correct location or staff members as appropriate
- manages patient items brought in by visitors
- maintains documentation related to Needs Assessment and referral calls
- provides clerical support to hospital as needed and assigned by department head
- performs other duties as assigned or required by this position
