Job Description

AMI is a rapidly growing outpatient radiology practice based in Mullica Hill, focused on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in a welcoming and efficient environment. As a key player in the healthcare community, AMI prides itself on combining state-of-the-art technology with compassionate patient care to provide accurate and timely imaging results. AMI’s dedicated team of radiologists, technologists, and support staff work collaboratively to ensure each patient receives personalized care that meets their medical needs while maintaining comfort and privacy.

The company is currently seeking a Part Time Receptionist to join its Mullica Hill office location. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to be a part of a progressive outpatient radiology practice. The position offers part-time employment with a commitment of 20 or more hours per week. Employees in this role are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO), paid holidays, participation in a 401k plan, and profit sharing benefits. While health benefits are not extended to part-time staff at this moment, the company rewards tenure through rate increases based on years of work experience.

The Receptionist plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a positive, professional, and efficient registration experience. This position requires exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced medical environment. Responsibilities include greeting patients warmly upon arrival, verifying and updating demographic and insurance information, assisting with paperwork and consents, scheduling appointments in line with established guidelines, managing phone calls, and handling payments. The receptionist also serves as a liaison between patients and the clinical team to improve overall patient care delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have prior clerical experience, and demonstrate intermediate computer proficiency. Experience in a medical office or hospital environment is strongly preferred due to the understanding of healthcare protocols it provides. Communication skills both on the phone and in-person are critical to success in this role, as is the ability to work independently and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. This position requires flexibility in the schedule with core hours including Monday and Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, along with participation in holiday rotation with at least one scheduled holiday per year.

Joining AMI offers the chance to contribute to a growing outpatient radiology practice where patient-centered care and professional development are top priorities. The receptionist will be part of a supportive team environment that values courteous customer service, accuracy, and detailed work completion. This is a unique opportunity to build a career within a respected healthcare provider while receiving benefits including PTO, paid holidays, and retirement options. As AMI continues to expand, it fosters an inclusive and equal opportunity workplace where dedicated individuals can grow alongside the organization.
