The company is dedicated to fostering an atmosphere of comfort and connection with entertaining events and gatherings that encourage social interaction both in group settings and one-on-one. Known for being an industry leader in clinical care, Brookdale supports its employees through extensive corporate resources and a robust training program designed to help associates grow and excel in their careers.
The role of Receptionist at Brookdale offers more than just a job; it provides an opportunity to become part of a purpose-driven community where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with people, fostering a welcoming environment, and supporting the smooth operation of a senior living community. Employment may be full-time or part-time, with benefits that vary accordingly. Associates can access a range of healthcare plans, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as life insurance and retirement plans. Additional benefits include paid holidays, paid time off, disability coverage, adoption benefits, employee discounts, referral programs, optional voluntary insurance plans, and an employee assistance program. These offerings are designed to promote the overall health, wellness, and professional development of team members.
As a Receptionist at Brookdale, you will be the friendly and professional first point of contact for all visitors entering the community. Your responsibilities include greeting guests, answering inquiries, ensuring visitors sign guest logs, and directing phone calls to the appropriate residents and staff members. You will handle sorting, delivering, and collecting incoming and outgoing mail for both the community and residents, and may perform basic clerical duties to assist the office team. When emergencies arise, you will follow community protocols to respond promptly by notifying the appropriate internal and external parties, ensuring resident safety and peace of mind.
Brookdale values diversity and inclusivity, encouraging veterans, transitioning military personnel, and military spouses to apply. The company also supports associates in their journey toward U.S. citizenship by offering to advance naturalization application fees for qualified employees. Brookdale is an equal opportunity employer and maintains a drug-free workplace, reflecting its commitment to a safe, supportive, and respectful work environment. Joining Brookdale means gaining more than a paycheck; it offers a chance to be part of a community that values your growth and well-being while enabling you to contribute positively to seniors’ lives every day.
