Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- must have keyboard proficiency
- must complete de-escalation training within 90 days of orientation
- ability to move frequently within the office and to other facilities
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to handle high stress levels
- willingness to work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM
- ability to work extended periods without undue fatigue
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- experience in clerical or secretarial roles preferred
- previous experience in healthcare-related settings is an advantage
- proficient in using office equipment and computer software including MS Outlook and Word
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
- emotional stability and ability to work under pressure
- completion of de-escalation training within 90 days
Job Duties
- Receive and assist patients and visitors
- answer telephone calls promptly
- organize and schedule appointments
- maintain accurate patient records and appointment logs
- provide clerical and administrative support to the surgical services team
- demonstrate professional and courteous communication at all times
- comply with health and safety standards within the office environment
