Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- experience in healthcare-related clerical or secretarial role preferred
- must complete de-escalation training within 90 days
- proficient in keyboard and office technology use
- able to work Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
- able to stand and move frequently during shifts
- able to maintain attention to detail under pressure
- must possess emotional stability and strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- experience in clerical or secretarial roles in healthcare preferred
- proficient computer skills including MS Outlook and Word
- completed de-escalation training by the end of orientation
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to handle stressful situations calmly
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to use professional judgment with patient interactions
Job Duties
- Receive and assist patients and visitors
- answer telephone calls promptly and professionally
- organize and schedule patient appointments
- facilitate patient care through efficient reception duties
- maintain accurate and organized records
- demonstrate professional etiquette and superior customer service
- operate office equipment including computer, telephone, and fax
