This full-time Receptionist Officer position based in Kenosha, WI, offers an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking to enter or grow within the security field. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, and comes with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22.00 to $23.00. As a Receptionist Officer at Securitas, the selected candidate will serve as the frontline representative to clients, employees, and visitors, providing vital administrative and security support to ensure a safe and secure environment.
The position is ideal for customer service-driven individuals interested in security work, providing elite training in safety and security protocols. Duties encompass conflict resolution, performing access control at entrances and exits, and administrative tasks such as message handling, call transfers, and package acceptance. The Receptionist Officer will conduct patrols both inside and outside client premises under varying conditions, maintain detailed logs and reports, and work as part of a team to meet organizational safety goals daily. The role requires the ability to interact calmly and professionally with a diverse range of individuals while remaining alert and responsive throughout the shift.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- high school diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
- standard computer/technology skills
- strong customer service experience required
- security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus
- must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner
- must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift
- must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgement and use appropriate escalation
- all candidates must be willing to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or ability to complete GED within 6 months
- strong customer service experience
- security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus
- standard computer/technology skills

Job Duties
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation
- perform access control at security entrances/exits
- provide administrative support such as taking and delivering messages, transferring calls, accepting mail and special delivery packages
- conduct patrols inside/outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions and terrains
- interact frequently with client employees and guests
- identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity
- provide detailed written logs and reports
- work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily
- carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site
