Job Requirements
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Must obtain VIRTUS certification after employment
- Ability to handle high volume calls with professionalism
- Willingness to work part-time in a non-exempt position
- Comfortable sitting and working on computer for extended periods
- Ability to manage interruptive and occasionally hostile interactions tactfully
- Capacity to lift and move weights between 20 and 30 pounds
- Must cope with mental and emotional stresses of the job
- Ability to travel locally as needed
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures
- Adherence to employee handbook and organizational policies
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent with three years of experience or an associate degree with one year of experience
- Proficient in internet and computer business applications
- Strong command of English language
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Competent in Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce CRM
- Demonstrated ability to tactfully engage with staff, visitors, and the public
- Capable of organizing and coordinating events professionally
- Skilled in maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality
Job Duties
- Receive, return, and transfer high volume of calls
- Greet visitors, priests, retreatants, guests, and vendors
- Utilize Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and OneDrive for communication and organization
- Use Salesforce CRM to create and update events, registrations, and payments
- Assist in preparation of retreat materials including schedules, nametags, maps, and booklets
- Maintain and clean administrative areas such as lobby, parlor, and office spaces
- Act as cashier in gift shop as needed
- Manage spiritual enrollment order fulfillment
- Update policies and procedures for receptionist/office assistant role
- Set up hospitality and conduct tours for guests
- Support other tasks as directed by Office Manager or Retreat Directress
