We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, well-organized, and motivated Receptionist to join our team based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, responsible for managing the front desk operations and providing a positive first impression to all guests and clients. The ideal candidate is a dynamic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, capable of multitasking while maintaining exceptional organization and professionalism. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to efficiently handle administrative duties. As a Receptionist at GA Telesis, you will play a key role in supporting our office operations by coordinating communication and ensuring a welcoming environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • prior receptionist experience
  • strong time management skills
  • good verbal and written communication
  • able to work as part of a team
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Job Duties

  • Greets visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • determines their needs
  • notifies the person(s) being visited
  • responsible for reception area at all times
  • coordinates substitutes/coverage with People Operations Manager during absences
  • answers telephone calls promptly and courteously
  • screens calls
  • transfers caller to correct individual
  • takes complete and accurate messages and distributes messages in a timely manner
  • activates the answering machine at the end of the day and places the system on night ring mode
  • checks the answering machine in the morning and retrieves messages to be delivered accordingly
  • sorts incoming and outgoing mail, express envelopes, and courier packages to be distributed to employees
  • maintains office supply cabinet, monitors inventory of supplies and orders accordingly
  • performs routine clerical functions as requested
