Job Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- minimum three years of related business experience
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- ability to operate technical office equipment and video conferencing tools
- must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- excellent communication and email etiquette
- availability to work first shift from 8 AM to 5 PM
- professional business attire required
- strict adherence to visitor security protocols
Job Qualifications
- Minimum three years of related business experience
- preference for candidates with administrative or switchboard experience within a law firm or legal environment
- proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word and Excel
- excellent communication skills including email etiquette
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- professionalism in business attire
- strong organizational skills
- ability to assimilate into a professional legal culture
Job Duties
- Greet all visitors with a professional welcome
- manage visitor security check-ins and maintain the firm’s lobby appearance
- handle all incoming calls with impeccable phone etiquette and manage high-volume email correspondence
- book and maintain conference room schedules
- ensure rooms are stocked with supplies and technology
- coordinate catering and provide light hospitality with coffee and water
- assist with entering invoices, managing calendars, preparing legal documents and correspondence, and basic data entry in Microsoft Excel
- act as local expert for guests regarding nearby restaurants, coffee houses, and city amenities
- monitor attorney and staff whereabouts to route calls accurately
- maintain organized supply rooms and issue firm property such as ID badges
