Job Description
CenterWell Senior Primary Care provides proactive and compassionate healthcare services specifically tailored for senior patients. Focused on wellness visits, chronic condition management, and personalized healthcare, CenterWell is committed to improving overall health outcomes by delivering integrated care through a dedicated team of physicians and specialists. CenterWell is a proud affiliate of Humana Inc, one of the nation's leading health and well-being companies, known for its comprehensive healthcare solutions that prioritize whole-person wellness. The organization fosters an inclusive and supportive environment, ensuring patients receive respectful and attentive care in all aspects of their health journey. The role of Receptionist at CenterWell's Groves Clinic offers an exceptional opportunity to become a vital part of this caring community and contribute directly to patient satisfaction and experience.
As a Receptionist at CenterWell's Groves Clinic, you will serve as the crucial first point of contact for both patients and visitors. This patient-facing position requires operating a multi-line phone system with efficiency and accuracy, managing incoming and outgoing calls, maintaining detailed call logs, and ensuring messages are correctly taken and distributed. Your welcoming demeanor will help create a positive impression by greeting visitors warmly, determining their reason for visiting, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining visitor logs. You will also be responsible for notifying the appropriate staff members about visitor arrivals to streamline communication across departments. Besides supporting patients and visitors, you will handle common inquiries regarding the clinic’s location, hours of operation, and contact information, enhancing communication flow.
Additional administrative duties include booking meeting rooms, typing correspondence, organizing and distributing mail, and managing courier packages—tasks that support smooth clinic operations. This position also requires direct involvement in the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program, ensuring compliance with health regulations and contributing to patient safety. This vital responsibility involves interacting with patients regarding TB screening procedures, and successful candidates must be willing to participate in the mandatory TB screening process as part of their role.
Ideal candidates will bring a strong passion for enhancing patient experiences, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and collaborative team spirit. While 1 year or more of healthcare experience is preferred, candidates with a robust background in customer service sectors such as retail, hospitality, or call centers will also be considered. Familiarity with value-based care models, medical terminology, and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is beneficial. Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are also valued in this role to better serve the diverse patient population.
This full-time position offers a weekly work schedule of 40 hours, with a competitive annual salary range between $39,000 and $49,400. In addition, the role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on individual and/or company performance, further rewarding contributions and dedication.
CenterWell and Humana Inc. support their employees with a comprehensive range of benefits designed to promote whole-person well-being. These include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, generous paid time off including company holidays, volunteer time off, and parental leave, as well as short-term and long-term disability and life insurance. These benefits reflect the organization's commitment to providing a supportive work environment where employees can thrive both personally and professionally.
CenterWell embraces diversity and inclusion, proudly operating as an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability, or veteran status. Joining this team as a Receptionist means being a part of a supportive and dedicated workforce, committed to enhancing healthcare delivery and positively impacting patients' lives every day.
