This opportunity is for a Part Time Receptionist position within one of MedMark's treatment centers. The Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth administrative operations by managing a range of clerical duties and acting as a liaison between patients and healthcare staff. The role requires a highly organized, professional, and enthusiastic individual who can multitask effectively and handle various office activities in a fast-paced medical environment. Responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients, coordinating schedules, verifying insurance information, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Job Requirements

  • At least 1-year prior experience in an office setting
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in basic PC skills

  • Self-directed with ability to work with little supervision
  • Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations

Job Duties

  • Performs secretarial duties including answering phones, forwarding calls, managing mail flow, data entry, reconcile daily money collected, office inventory control
  • Assist Medical Director, Program Physician, Nurse Practitioner with patient intakes including scheduling, patient check in, insurance verification, payment collection, follow up calls
  • Assists in obtaining patient histories from other NTPs, building blank patient files for new admissions, archiving discharged files, prepares and maintains reports and records
  • Office maintenance including cleaning and disinfecting children’s play area, lab area, coffee/beverage area
  • Facilitate specimen collection from patients, deliver to lab, file results, distribute to counselors if applicable
  • Other duties as assigned
