The role of Receptionist at Casa de las Campanas is an essential part of maintaining the community’s exceptional service standards. This full-time position operates during the PM shift from Monday to Friday, 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm, and offers a competitive hourly wage between $18.00 and $20.00, with additional shift differentials for evenings, overnights, and weekends. The Receptionist acts as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and staff, delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth communication across the facility. Responsibilities include greeting and directing individuals, managing phone calls, monitoring safety systems, and performing administrative tasks to support daily operations. The position demands strong interpersonal skills, the capacity to handle emergency situations with responsiveness, and the ability to maintain an organized and professional reception area.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- two or more years of customer service experience at a concierge, front desk or similar position
- one or more years of PBX system experience preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain a clean and organized reception area
- capability to respond promptly to emergency signals and alarms
- proficiency with office equipment including fax, copier, and computers
- ability to maintain accurate visitor logs and handle mail and deliveries
- must pass background checks including fingerprinting and employment references as required by licensed residential care facility
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate
- two or more years of customer service work experience at a concierge, front desk or similar position
- one or more years of PBX experience is desirable
- exceptional communication and interpersonal skills needed for telephone and in-person contact with residents, staff, and visitors
Job Duties
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
- welcome residents and visitors in a warm and friendly manner and answer any questions they may have
- maintain lobby, reception area, and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times
- monitor annunciator panels for emergencies and fire alarms, respond quickly and appropriately in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- communicate clearly and professionally through 2-way radio to other departments
- monitor lobby security
- operate standard office equipment on a regular basis including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer
- keep detailed and accurate records of visitors through Accushield
- receive deliveries, log, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
- receive, log, and distribute resident prescriptions
- take inventory of reception supplies and restock as needed
- maintain resident census reports
- coordinate information distribution between the reception desk and departments as appropriate
- maintain the general reception filing system
- provide general administrative support to staff and residents as needed
- provide lunch and dinner reservations for the dining rooms
- accept tray order requests on Saturday and Sunday
