The role of Receptionist at Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital is vital in ensuring smooth communication flows and exceptional patient and visitor experiences. As the first point of contact, the Receptionist will provide telecommunication services which include handling telephone calls, page systems, radios, and computer communications. This position involves connecting visitors, patients, families, staff, and callers efficiently and courteously, fostering a positive environment of care and professionalism. Beyond communication, the Receptionist may be tasked with maintaining accurate records related to telecommunication activities like long-distance calls, on-call staff rosters, and recorded pages. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to demonstrate general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management
- Effective organizational and time management abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Capacity to collaborate professionally with others
- Ability to uphold quality and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Demonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management

Job Duties
- Provide telecommunication services including telephone, pager, paging system, radio, and computer communication
