Camperland of Oklahoma is a well-established, family-owned RV dealership that has proudly served the Oklahoma community since 1994. Founded by Ron Shepherd, the company is currently managed daily by his sons, Thomas and Brent Shepherd, continuing the family tradition of delivering exceptional service and quality to its customers. Camperland has grown to become one of the most successful RV dealerships in the region, owing much of its success to a culture that emphasizes family values, employee satisfaction, and outstanding customer experiences. The dealership prides itself on fostering an inclusive work environment where every employee is valued as part of the Camperland family. This supportive atmosphere promotes professional growth and long-term career opportunities, making it an excellent place for individuals seeking job stability and a rewarding professional journey.
The role of Receptionist at Camperland of Oklahoma is pivotal, serving as the first and last point of contact for every customer who walks through the doors. This position requires a professional, reliable, and personable individual who embodies the friendly and welcoming spirit of the dealership. As the face and voice of the organization, the receptionist plays a crucial role in setting the tone for customer interactions and ensuring that every client feels valued and well cared for from the moment they arrive until they leave. While prior experience is preferred, Camperland also considers candidates with great potential who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
The receptionist position is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week from Tuesday to Saturday, with Sundays and Mondays off. This schedule allows for a balanced work-life dynamic while contributing significantly to the smooth operation of the dealership. Key responsibilities include managing receptionist processes and procedures, performing various clerical tasks such as typing, data entry, filing, photocopying, faxing, and sorting mail. The receptionist also manages the flow of visitors, obtains essential information regarding their business, directs clients appropriately, and assists with diffusing any client concerns by referring them to the correct team members.
Beyond administrative duties, the receptionist supports the organizational structure by maintaining updated logs, managing vehicle keys, organizing vehicle packets and brochures, and participating actively in department meetings. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The receptionist contributes not only to operational efficiency but also significantly enhances the customer experience, playing a vital role in maintaining the dealership's reputation for top-tier service.
Compensation for this role is competitive and aligned with standards expected of Fortune 500 companies, reflecting Camperland’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding talent appropriately. Furthermore, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off for holidays, sick and personal days, as well as paid vacation that increases with tenure. This position is ideal for individuals seeking a long-term career in a friendly and professional environment that prioritizes employee well-being and development.
