The Receptionist role at Brentwood Hospital is a vital entry point for patients, visitors, and staff within the facility. This position is designed for an energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, supportive environment and enjoys interacting positively with others. The Receptionist is responsible for facilitating smooth communication flow by greeting and directing visitors, answering phones, and providing routine organizational information while maintaining confidentiality. Additionally, this role involves handling incoming mail, supporting various clerical functions throughout the hospital, and ensuring that all front-desk operations run efficiently. This is a full-time position with working hours Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, under the supervision of the Communications Manager. Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some college credits or degrees preferred
  • Relevant work experience in medical office setting
  • Available to work Monday through Friday from 3 00 PM to 11 00 PM
  • Ability to communicate clearly and courteously

Job Duties

  • Promptly greet patients visitors and staff who enter the facility
  • Make eye contact with and greet walk-in guests in a pleasant courteous and clear tone of voice
  • Provide routine organization-related information to callers and visitors while maintaining confidentiality
  • Sign for receive sort and route incoming mail including courier deliveries daily
  • Provide back-up clerical support to various departments and respond willingly and courteously to requests for special assistance
