The Receptionist position at EngageMED is non-exempt and reports directly to the Clinic Manager. The role is stationed across multiple clinic locations in Central Arkansas, enhancing EngageMED's service reach and patient interaction.

The Receptionist serves as the essential first point of contact for all visitors, patients, and partners, playing a pivotal role in shaping the overall patient experience and organizational image. This role requires a highly organized, personable, and resourceful individual who thrives in a multitasking, fast-paced environment where exceptional administrative efficiency and patient service are critical. The Receptionist handles key responsibilities such as visitor coordination, guest relations, managing the switchboard, handling office logistics, and ensuring confidentiality and compliance with clinic policies. A successful candidate will demonstrate high levels of professionalism, adaptability, and dependability, with a strong focus on maintaining a secure and welcoming environment. This role involves managing inquiry responses, maintaining office security, performing clerical tasks like data entry and filing, and ensuring operational readiness by managing opening and closing activities of the facility. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years of experience in a similar receptionist or administrative role
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods
  • Ability to move throughout the office to assist visitors or manage deliveries
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment including computers, multi-line phones, scanners

Job Duties

  • Welcome visitors, patients, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintain office security by monitoring the logbook, issuing visitor badges, and notifying appropriate staff of guest arrivals
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries promptly, providing accurate information and directing individuals to the appropriate resources
  • Manage the switchboard by answering, screening, and directing phone calls to the appropriate team members
  • Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
  • maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
  • Perform data entry, filing, and general administrative tasks as requested by clinic leadership
  • Manage the opening and closing of the facility by locking/unlocking doors during designated business hours
  • Maintain strict professionalism and confidentiality regarding all materials, patient information, and internal records
  • Ensure visitor logs and files are accurate and easily accessible to authorized personnel
