The Outpatient Services Support Specialist role at EMPACT's Glendale office is an essential frontline position requiring a dependable, outgoing, and detail-oriented individual. This full-time position suits candidates with experience in outpatient behavioral health, medical offices, or similar professional reception environments. The role involves managing reception duties, including answering multi-line phone systems, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and various clerical tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and respect when interacting with clients and colleagues, embodying the agency's commitment to client dignity and confidentiality. Employees must maintain a calm demeanor in crisis situations, work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment, and effectively prioritize responsibilities using independent decision-making skills. The position demands a strong aptitude for multitasking, project management, and communications with internal team members and external community and business partners.

The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent interpersonal qualities, be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and possess fundamental typing and telephone skills. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of related job experience. Knowledge of HIPAA privacy laws and maintaining client confidentiality are pivotal in this role. EMPACT-SPC also encourages bilingual candidates, offering differential pay for bilingual proficiency.

This position requires the candidate to be at least 18 years old (21 if providing direct client services), possess a valid Arizona driver's license if driving on agency time or business, and hold or be eligible for a fingerprint clearance card.
