Job Requirements

  • GED or high school diploma
  • effective communication skills including listening, verbal, and written
  • customer service experience or aptitude
  • dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously including difficult member issues and call responses
  • capable of self-regulating emotions and behavior in professional settings
  • ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, and use fine motor skills
  • able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • availability to work Monday to Friday full-time schedule
  • able to commute to Kansas City, MO 64153
  • willingness to travel occasionally to the Leawood location for coverage

Job Qualifications

  • GED or high school diploma
  • proficient in Microsoft Office and proprietary software
  • able to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence
  • capable of effectively presenting information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • able to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and interpretation of bar graphs

Job Duties

  • Answer calls providing superior customer service and routing calls to the appropriate individuals
  • Greet visitors, welcoming members and assisting or directing them as needed
  • Handle inquiries, fielding questions and directing them to the appropriate contacts
  • Assist with lockboxes by leasing, programming, and assigning them to members while providing backup support
  • Support sales by ringing up store sales and managing the daily cash box
  • Assist with educational classes and trainings by verifying member credentials and providing completion certificates
  • Provide general support to other staff members with miscellaneous projects as needed
