Job Requirements
- GED or high school diploma
- effective communication skills including listening, verbal, and written
- customer service experience or aptitude
- dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously including difficult member issues and call responses
- capable of self-regulating emotions and behavior in professional settings
- ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, and use fine motor skills
- able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- availability to work Monday to Friday full-time schedule
- able to commute to Kansas City, MO 64153
- willingness to travel occasionally to the Leawood location for coverage
Job Qualifications
- GED or high school diploma
- proficient in Microsoft Office and proprietary software
- able to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence
- capable of effectively presenting information in one-on-one and small group situations
- able to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and interpretation of bar graphs
- able to apply common sense in solving problems involving concrete variables
- excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- courteous, sensitive, and responsive to customer needs
- dependable and punctual
- skilled in planning, organizing, and prioritizing work activities
- adept in problem-solving and quality improvement processes
- able to adapt to new technologies and troubleshoot problems
Job Duties
- Answer calls providing superior customer service and routing calls to the appropriate individuals
- Greet visitors, welcoming members and assisting or directing them as needed
- Handle inquiries, fielding questions and directing them to the appropriate contacts
- Assist with lockboxes by leasing, programming, and assigning them to members while providing backup support
- Support sales by ringing up store sales and managing the daily cash box
- Assist with educational classes and trainings by verifying member credentials and providing completion certificates
- Provide general support to other staff members with miscellaneous projects as needed
