Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer one year work experience, preferably in a medical front office setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology desirable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and other computer applications
- Working knowledge of medical front office procedures
- Experience with Cerner scheduling system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Job Duties
- Greet and check patients in for clinic appointments
- Schedule return appointments
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance
- Complete authorization process and insurance benefits verification
- Ensure proper paperwork is completed
- Route patient chart to appropriate location
- Serve as liaison between patient and medical support staff
