We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our dynamic Drybar team, a critical role that embodies the spirit and professionalism of our brand at the front lines. This position is hourly, starting at $17.50 per hour, with enticing opportunities for retail and membership sales bonuses, including up to $10 for every membership sold. The Receptionist serves as the welcoming face and primary point of contact for clients, fostering an upbeat, positive atmosphere as if hosting a party. Responsibilities extend beyond greeting and scheduling; the successful candidate will expertly manage the reservation system to optimize appointments and ensure smooth shop flow between clients and team members. They will handle client payments with the utmost ethics, maintain the cash drawer, and communicate effectively with shop management to sustain an exceptional salon environment. This role calls for a dedicated professional with at least one year of experience in a fast-paced customer service setting and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is highly preferred, and prior salon or spa experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum one year experience in fast-paced customer service
  • Proven proficiency with point-of-sale systems preferred
  • Ability to maintain professional and brand-appropriate image
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash and payments responsibly
  • Capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet clients warmly and set a positive atmosphere
  • Manage reservation system ensuring accurate and timely client information
  • Optimize appointment scheduling to maximize shop flow
  • Handle client payments and stylists tips/commissions ethically and accurately
  • Balance cash drawer at opening, closing, and shift changes
  • Communicate effectively with shop management regarding operations
  • Assist with shop cleanliness and support stylists to improve efficiency
