Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- previous medical receptionist experience preferred
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ability to multitask
- strong interpersonal skills
- adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
- punctuality and adherence to dress code
- flexible availability Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- graduation from an accredited college with an associate degree preferred
- one year of interpreting experience or equivalent education and training
- bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- proficiency in Microsoft Office

- understanding of therapeutic and medical terminology
- excellent reading, writing, and comprehension skills

Job Duties
- Greet clients
- give necessary documents to clients
- check patients in scheduler and contact therapists
- collect and process co-pays
- answer and address phone calls professionally
- redirect calls accordingly
- place appointment reminder calls
- maintain front desk metric boards
- follow opening and closing procedures for front desk
- maintain cleanliness of front desk and waiting area
- receive communications regarding Medicaid coverage and authorization
- alert coordinators to changes in insurance coverage
- process incoming faxes
- record client cancellations and notify therapists
- attend daily administrative meetings
- observe patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
- assist with advertising attendance program
- reschedule client appointments
- assemble client welcome packets
- update and maintain compliance logs
- create employee mailboxes
- fax and send reports to physicians and parents
- filing and scanning
- assist with training team members
- carry out projects assigned by management
- provide accurate interpretation services
- translate written and spoken materials
- explain therapeutic procedures
- manage therapeutic documents and terminology
- maintain good interpersonal relationships
- use Microsoft applications proficiently
- serve as administrative backup when needed
