Job Description

Cancer Care Northwest stands as a beacon of hope and healing in the Inland Northwest, proudly celebrating over 50 years of dedicated service in the fight against cancer and blood-related diseases. As the region's premier cancer center, Cancer Care Northwest is deeply committed to providing an integrated and compassionate approach to cancer diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. With a legacy spanning five decades, the center combines comprehensive medical expertise with innovative treatment options, ensuring each patient receives personalized and holistic care throughout their cancer journey.

The organization's mission is fueled by a collective passion to save lives, foster healing, and inspire hope in patients and their families. Cancer Care Northwest is more than a healthcare provider; it is a community of professionals dedicated to making a meaningful impact through teamwork, empathy, and cutting-edge care. The center's multidisciplinary team collaborates closely to address the unique needs of each patient, emphasizing not only medical treatment but also emotional support and quality of life.

Currently, Cancer Care Northwest is seeking a full-time receptionist to join their compassionate and skilled team. This position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for patients and visitors entering the clinic. The receptionist is responsible for greeting patients and guests promptly, courteously, and professionally, setting the tone for a positive healthcare experience. Key responsibilities include obtaining and verifying necessary forms, collecting demographic and insurance information, and managing co-pays and other payments at the time of the visit as directed by the financial counselor.

In addition to patient interaction, the receptionist handles financial responsibilities such as performing end-of-day financial closeouts, ensuring accuracy and accountability. Maintaining a neat and orderly lobby area is also essential to creating a comforting atmosphere for patients and visitors. Success in this role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

This opportunity is ideal for dedicated individuals with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence in a medical office setting. Cancer Care Northwest values professionalism, integrity, and a warm demeanor, recognizing that the receptionist is often the first point of contact for patients and their families. The position offers a competitive salary range from $18.38 to $25.73 per hour, depending on experience, and includes access to a comprehensive benefits package detailed on the company’s careers page.

By joining Cancer Care Northwest, employees become part of a legacy of care that has stood the test of time through dedication to innovative cancer treatment and an unwavering commitment to patient-centered care. This role not only provides a chance to contribute directly to patient experience but also to grow professionally within a supportive and mission-driven healthcare environment.
