Job Description

CenterWell Senior Primary Care, a part of Humana Inc., is a leading healthcare services provider dedicated to delivering personalized and comprehensive care to seniors. With a focus on proactive and preventive care, CenterWell offers a wide range of services including wellness visits, physical exams, chronic condition management, screenings, and minor injury treatment. As the largest provider of senior-focused primary care in the United States, CenterWell's care model emphasizes individualized attention, spending significantly more time with patients than traditional care providers to ensure holistic well-being that incorporates physical health, emotional support, and social factors. CenterWell operates with integrated care teams consisting of physicians, nurses, behavioral health specialists, and other healthcare professionals who collaborate to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

This role of Receptionist is pivotal within the CenterWell Senior Primary Care office environment. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, responsible for managing front desk operations with a warm and professional approach. Your responsibilities will include greeting patients in person and over the phone, scheduling and confirming appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, handling inquiries, and managing various administrative tasks such as updating patient accounts and collecting copays. Additionally, the role supports clinical workflows by organizing the reception area, managing supply orders, inventory, and coordinating courier services. This position is essential to the smooth functioning of the facility and requires strong communication skills, proficiency in handling multiple phone lines, and the ability to multitask efficiently.

The Receptionist role is full-time, typically scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is located onsite at a CenterWell Senior Primary Care office. This position is patient-facing and requires participation in Humana's Tuberculosis screening program, which is a standard health and safety protocol. The starting salary range for this role is estimated between $38,000 and $45,800 per year, reflecting variations in geographic location and individual qualifications. Additionally, the role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and individual performance.

Working at CenterWell offers more than just a job; it provides an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of senior patients by facilitating access to quality healthcare and supporting a culture that values whole-person well-being. Humana, the parent company, offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees' health and wellness, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plans, paid time off and holidays, parental leave, disability coverage, and life insurance. The company is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce, ensuring equal employment opportunities for all individuals regardless of race, gender, age, or other protected statuses.
