JLL is currently seeking a Receptionist to join their team onsite in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is crucial as the first point of contact for a prestigious client, responsible for providing professional reception services and coordinating facility operations. The position operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility for overtime based on operational demands. The Receptionist plays an integral role in security, hospitality, and administrative tasks, ensuring a seamless, secure, and welcoming environment for visitors and employees alike. Beyond general phone answering, this role requires managing visitor access, issuing badges for contractors and guests, coordinating conference room schedules, and handling facility maintenance requests through specialized software like Corrigo.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of receptionist or administrative experience in a professional environment
- High School diploma or equivalent certification
- Proven ability to work effectively in high-volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing environments
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service with professional communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
- Physical capability to sit for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with minimal supervision
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of receptionist or administrative experience in a professional environment
- High School diploma or equivalent certification
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service with professional communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
- Associate degree or completed college coursework in business administration or related field preferred
- Experience with security badging systems and visitor management protocols preferred
- Familiarity with facility management software particularly Corrigo or similar ticketing systems preferred
- Previous experience supporting corporate or government facilities with enhanced security requirements preferred
- Background in conference room booking systems and calendar management for executive teams preferred
- Experience maintaining procedural documentation and standard operating procedures preferred
- Track record of exercising sound judgment in decision-making and appropriate issue escalation to leadership preferred
Job Duties
- Greet guests and employees with professionalism and warmth
- Implement critical security protocols including vetting US citizens and issuing visitor badges
- Coordinate conference room scheduling and manage calendar requests
- Respond to facility-related requests and create service tickets in Corrigo
- Maintain essential documentation such as building contact lists and the Concierge Playbook
- Act as liaison between visitors, employees, and JLL Facility Management team
- Support various facility-related tasks and adapt to dynamic needs throughout the day
