Job Description

Veater Financial Group (VFG) is a reputable financial services company operating under the umbrella of Osaic, a prominent entity in the financial advisory sector. Located in Fresno, California, VFG is known for its client-centric approach and commitment to delivering comprehensive financial solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client. Osaic has recently implemented a hybrid work schedule requiring employees, including those in the receptionist role, to work a minimum of four days per week in the office.

Veater Financial Group is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to join their team on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week. This position is integral to ensuring a positive first impression for clients, guests, prospective clients, and all visitors. The Receptionist will act as the welcoming face of the office, providing exceptional customer service, managing scheduling, and facilitating smooth day-to-day office operations.

The role goes beyond traditional receptionist duties, as the successful candidate will be tasked with supporting client scheduling processes, managing office supplies and expenditures, and maintaining the organization of communal office spaces. They will also be responsible for managing communications, including phone, postage, and virtual meetings, while ensuring all client information in the CRM system is current.

This position requires a person with a friendly and professional demeanor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities efficiently. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment, demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information, and exhibit a proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting to the evolving needs of the office.

Job Duties

  • Front desk operations providing phone and lobby greeting communication coverage
  • Maintain office scheduling system and coordinate President's schedule
  • Manage the client scheduling process with supervisor assurance of periodic client reviews
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and ordering including vendor listing and records for accounts payable
  • Organize workroom, supplies, and staff eating/kitchen areas
  • Manage operations of phone, postage, virtual meeting accounts, and mail/package systems including accounting for expenditures and record maintenance
  • Update client files in the CRM system with new contact information and notify supervisor
  • Manage special event cards for clients and assist with event mailings/communications
  • Attend staff meetings and assist with referral dinners and other assigned events
  • Perform other duties necessary for smooth company operation
