Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of receptionist experience in healthcare setting preferred
- current driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Job Duties
- Greets visitors positively and professionally and maintains visitor registration logs
- directs patients and visitors to appropriate parties and answers basic questions
- answers telephone and correctly routes calls via phone or paging system
- performs general clerical and data entry duties
- ensures reception area is maintained and clean and provides a calm environment for visitors
- communicates with appropriate staff during emergency situations and drills
- provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff, assesses the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions
- complies with appropriate and approved safety and infection prevention standards
- maintains regular attendance in keeping with assigned work schedule
- performs other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of the organization
