The Receptionist position at Brynn Marr Hospital plays a crucial role as the initial point of contact for employees, patients, visitors, and guests, providing a welcoming and professional experience both in person and over the phone. This full-time role entails working a schedule of 1 pm to 9:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The receptionist is responsible for facilitating smooth communication and information flow within the hospital, supporting staff across departments by managing clerical tasks that aid in the hospital’s operational goals. Key responsibilities include greeting and directing visitors, answering and routing telephone calls efficiently, and providing general administrative support to medical and administrative teams. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform light work involving walking, standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, and reaching
  • Physical ability for grasping, speaking, hearing, and computer use
  • Visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision
  • Agility to perform physical restraints and administer CPR
  • Willingness to work a full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 1 pm to 9:30 pm
  • Commitment to upholding hospital policies and confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Proficient in basic computer use and office software
  • Knowledge of hospital or healthcare environment is a plus
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Greet employees, patients, visitors, and guests in person and by telephone
