Job Description

Peak is recognized as the #1 fastest-growing private company in Columbus, Ohio, according to Inc. 5000, and ranks among the top and youngest financial planning firms in the United States. Since its inception, Peak has grown from a single team member to a robust team exceeding 60 professionals within just four years. This rapid expansion reflects not only the firm's exceptional growth trajectory but also its commitment to excellence and innovation in the financial planning sector. In 2025, the firm demonstrated its selective hiring approach by sifting through over 5,400 applicants and extending offers to only 19 candidates, illustrating the high standards and rigorous evaluation process Peak employs to build a team aligned with its core values and relentless intensity. As a scaling start-up, Peak is dedicated to cultivating a workplace that fosters performance, teamwork, and an unwavering drive to succeed. It is a place where only those who share a passion for excellence and resilience find a home, embodying a culture that is not suitable for everyone but profoundly rewarding for those who thrive within it.

The role at Peak demands a unique blend of attributes and skills, as the company seeks 'A+ players' who are elite in their craft, extremely hardworking, gritty, and inherently motivated to achieve exceptional results. Ideal candidates are self-starters who do not need to be micromanaged and are driven by an internal need to succeed. They prefer to work alongside top performers and avoid mediocrity. Key characteristics also include being a 'Foxhole Team Member'—someone with a servant's heart, committed to a purpose beyond personal gain, willing to support teammates even in challenging circumstances, and eager to deliver 'White Glove Service' to clients by going above and beyond expectations. The company values a 'Rocketship Mentality,' appealing to those excited by fast growth, possessing a growth mindset across all areas of life—professional, personal, physical, and spiritual—and interested in a long-term commitment, strikingly expressed through the notion of being a 'Lifer' who envisions a career spanning more than three decades within Peak.

In this position, the selected individual will be entrusted with frontline responsibilities that significantly influence client and visitor experiences. These duties include warmly welcoming clients and guests upon arrival to create a friendly and professional atmosphere, managing incoming calls and accurately directing inquiries to ensure efficient communication flow, and maintaining an orderly and inviting reception environment. The role also involves logistical aspects like overseeing meeting room arrangements, handling client check-ins, and providing hospitality services, which are essential in supporting seamless operations. Additionally, the person will assist with scheduling and confirming appointments, perform basic administrative functions, and support the operations team with clerical tasks. This role is pivotal to delivering an exceptional first impression and fostering a positive organizational image, making it crucial for candidates to demonstrate impeccable interpersonal skills, organization abilities, and a service-oriented mindset. Through this multifaceted role, the company reinforces its commitment to quality, teamwork, and client satisfaction, offering a challenging yet fulfilling career path for motivated individuals who align with Peak's ambitious vision.
