Job Description
Echodyne is a pioneering technology company known for developing the world's first compact solid-state true beam-steering radar. This innovative radar technology is designed to serve a variety of industries and applications, including autonomous vehicles, uncrewed aircraft and drones, as well as security for borders, critical infrastructure, and smart cities. By integrating patented metamaterials technology with advanced software, Echodyne delivers radar sensors that offer unprecedented performance at commercial price points, making cutting-edge radar solutions accessible across multiple sectors. The company is actively involved in fields such as Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).
Echodyne is currently seeking a Receptionist to join their fast-growing team at company headquarters. This is a non-exempt, full-time, on-site role based in the United States, offering competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including RSUs (Restricted Stock Units) and fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums. The Receptionist will serve as the front-line point of contact and is responsible for ensuring a positive and professional experience for visitors, employees, candidates, customers, and external partners. The ideal candidate will manage daily front desk operations, visitor access, voicemail systems, and provide essential administrative support while working closely with the General and Administrative (G&A) team.
The role of Receptionist at Echodyne requires strong organizational and communication skills. The person in this position will maintain front desk coverage during business hours, manage visitor check-in procedures, issue temporary security badges, monitor company voicemail, and respond to general inquiries effectively. They will also assist with mail and package handling, scheduling meetings and conference rooms, supporting company communications, and maintaining office supply inventories. Furthermore, the Receptionist will provide excellent customer service, uphold confidentiality when handling sensitive information, and foster effective working relationships across the organization. This role demands the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
Echodyne's work environment is a corporate, technology-focused setting with standard business hours and occasional support for company events and meetings. There are physical requirements involving the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, move around the office, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Safety and security are paramount, so the company requires applicants to meet eligibility criteria for handling export-controlled information, including U.S. citizenship or appropriate immigration status.
Overall, this position provides an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading-edge technology company that is revolutionizing radar systems. The Receptionist will play a crucial role in sustaining smooth front office operations and contributing to the welcoming atmosphere at Echodyne. The company encourages candidates with the core skills to apply, even if not all desired qualifications are met, as other roles may also be a good fit. Echodyne is committed to diversity and equal opportunity in employment, providing consideration to all qualified applicants without discrimination.
