The role of Receptionist at Leisure Care is vital to maintaining the welcoming atmosphere and smooth operation of the community. This position involves managing front desk duties and performing general administrative tasks to support the staff and residents. Working Monday through Friday from 4pm to 8pm, the Receptionist acts as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff, ensuring a professional and friendly experience. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, maintaining accurate records such as resident emergency data summaries and sign-in/sign-out logs, monitoring emergency procedures, and keeping the front desk organized and clean.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of prior front desk receptionist or customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Willingness to work Monday through Friday from 4pm to 8pm

Job Duties

  • Greets all visitors to the community
  • Answers and directs phone calls
  • Maintains resident emergency data summaries, phone logs, emergency procedures manual, resident sign-in/sign-out logs, guest sign-in books and other documentation
  • General typing and filing
  • Monitors electronic resident call box
  • Maintains cleanliness of front desk and main entrance
  • Monitors office supplies
