We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist to join the Fisher Investments team. This vital role serves as the first point of contact for the organization, embodying the company’s commitment to excellent customer service and professionalism. The Receptionist will be responsible for managing front desk operations with thoughtfulness and support, ensuring all visitors and callers receive a welcoming and seamless experience. Reporting directly to the Receptionist Team Leader, individuals in this position will engage in ongoing development conversations, helping to facilitate personal and professional growth within a collaborative environment.

The Receptionist plays a crucial role in maintaining the firm’s professional appearance and fostering communication within various departments. As part of their daily duties, the Receptionist will handle incoming communications, greet and assist visitors both in person and over the phone, and manage security protocols such as guest log-ins and identification badge issuance. They will also coordinate scheduling needs, including booking conference rooms and supporting several departments with administrative tasks. This hands-on role demands a professional demeanor, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced office setting. The successful candidate will be punctual, reliable, and possess a friendly and approachable presence that reflects the values and culture of Fisher Investments.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of receptionist experience in a professional setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems
  • Availability to work in-office
  • Commitment to professionalism and reliability

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience as a receptionist with a professional firm
  • Demonstrate customer service focus
  • Reflect the expectations of a professional work environment with your presence and demeanor
  • Positive and friendly demeanor
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Comfortable with multiple line telephone systems
  • Supervisory or training experience

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate parties throughout the firm
  • Welcome and greet visitors, in person or on the phone
  • answer questions and direct them to waiting area and conference rooms
  • Log-in guests and issue identification badges to maintain security
  • Track and schedule meetings and conference rooms
  • Provide administrative support to several departments
  • Maintain a clean reception area
  • Connect with and support all levels of personnel (clients and internal employees)
