Founded with a clear mission to prioritize both its people and customers, PeopleTec embodies a culture that places the highest value on its employees' well-being and professional growth. The company has successfully cultivated an award-winning atmosphere, attracting some of the brightest talent across various technical fields. With a strong emphasis on employee engagement and career development, PeopleTec offers robust training programs, continuing education opportunities, and a comprehensive "People First" benefits package to ensure the long-term success and satisfaction of its team members.
The Receptionist role at PeopleTec serves as the vital first point of contact for the company's corporate office in Huntsville, AL. This position is central to cultivating positive impressions for visitors, clients, and employees alike by managing front desk operations with professionalism and efficiency. Offering a salary range of $15 to $18 per hour, depending on education and experience, this role demands a high level of organizational capability, customer service excellence, and adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
In this multifaceted position, the Receptionist is responsible for a wide array of administrative tasks such as welcoming and assisting guests, managing visitor logs and badges, answering and directing calls, and maintaining the cleanliness and order of reception and communal areas. Beyond conventional receptionist duties, the role extends to office operations, including inventory management, shipping coordination, conference room scheduling, meeting support, and internal communications, such as sending company-wide reminders and organizing notes for executive meetings.
Additionally, the Receptionist plays a key role in event and program support, leading initiatives that boost employee morale, such as Marine’s Day and Certification Nation Day, managing company donations and sponsorships, and assisting with lunch coordination for executive meetings. This candidate also contributes to company-wide events, serves as a backup to the event planner, and provides social media assistance.
This position requires an energetic multitasker with excellent communication skills, both oral and written, able to maintain professionalism under pressure and navigate complex situations with composure. The role occasionally demands flexibility to work non-standard hours, particularly in support of company events. A valid driver’s license and U.S. Citizenship are mandatory, with an ability to travel up to 15% of the time. Physical requirements include the capability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds and stamina to manage extended periods of attention and presence in an office setting.
Overall, this position is ideal for someone seeking to join a vibrant employee-focused organization where technology and people are equally valued, offering significant opportunities for career advancement and continuous learning. PeopleTec’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity further enhances a welcoming work environment where all qualified applicants receive consideration without regard to protected status.
