The company is currently seeking a Receptionist to join its high-profile fitness center located in Midtown Manhattan. The Receptionist's duties extend beyond greeting members; the role includes managing membership accounts, processing payments, responding to member feedback, and performing essential administrative tasks that support the smooth operation of the fitness center. The successful candidate will serve as a vital link between members and management, escalating issues when necessary and assisting with special events, promotions, and inventory management. Additionally, the Receptionist will support the Site Leader and Assistant Manager, contributing to the overall success and high standards of the facility.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or front desk roles preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and web applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure
- Availability to work Monday-Friday 9am-6pm
- Willingness to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certifications if applicable
Job Qualifications
- Ability to skillfully network, engage and interact with all clients, guests and members in a high-volume facility
- Strong customer service, organizational skills, writing skills, and attention to detail
- Competence with basic computer skills, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and web applications
- CPR/AED and First Aid certifications if applicable
Job Duties
- Greet all members and guests with warmth and professionalism
- Respond to and provide assistance with members’ feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating to management as needed
- Handle account inquiries and payments
- Manage all membership accounts and communications, maintaining detailed records
- Fulfill front desk administrative duties
- Assist with special projects, events, and promotions
- Ensure facility cleanliness and manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and retail products
- Provide support and assistance to the Site Leader and Assistant Manager
- Complete internal development courses through a learning management platform
- Maintain positive customer and client experience by providing the highest quality of service
