Job Description
CenterWell Senior Primary Care is a specialized healthcare provider dedicated to delivering proactive and preventive care specifically designed for seniors. With a focus on personalized and comprehensive health services, CenterWell emphasizes wellness visits, physical exams, chronic condition management, screenings, minor injury treatment, and more. The company’s integrated care approach combines the expertise of physicians, nurses, behavioral health specialists, and other healthcare professionals to create a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient well-being. CenterWell is committed to going beyond physical health by addressing social, emotional, and other factors influencing a patient's overall health, thereby improving health outcomes through compassionate, individualized care.
CenterWell is part of Humana Inc., a leading healthcare and insurance company known for its commitment to whole-person well-being and innovative patient care. Humana supports its employees with a range of competitive benefits and emphasizes a culture of inclusion, safety, and professional growth. At the Conviva Senior Primary Care office located in Pasadena, Texas, CenterWell is seeking a full-time Receptionist 1 to join their team and contribute to their mission of delivering high-quality senior healthcare.
The Receptionist 1 role at CenterWell involves managing communication channels efficiently, ensuring that incoming and outgoing telephone calls are correctly routed, and providing a warm, welcoming environment for all visitors. This position requires someone who can deliver excellent customer service and perform various administrative, clerical, and operational tasks such as message distribution, visitor pass management, and scheduling assistance. Operating a multi-line phone system and maintaining accurate logs of long-distance calls are essential components of the role.
This role is particularly patient-facing and includes responsibilities such as running the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program, which requires careful attention to detail and adherence to health and safety protocols. The Receptionist 1 will work closely with the Manager of Clinic/Center Administration and collaborate with internal teams to facilitate smooth operations within the facility.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range between $41,800 and $50,400 annually, with eligibility for a bonus incentive program based on individual and company performance. Scheduled work hours are 40 hours per week, providing stable and consistent employment. Candidates with a background in healthcare or customer service, particularly those who are bilingual in English and Spanish, will find this role aligns well with their skills.
Humana and CenterWell emphasize personal identity protection and use advanced interviewing technology, HireVue, to streamline their hiring processes. They are dedicated to equal employment opportunities and affirmatively support diversity and inclusion for all employees and applicants. Working at CenterWell means joining a community-oriented company that values holistic care and employee well-being.
