Our organization is a mission-driven entity committed to enhancing the lives of individuals and strengthening communities across Idaho. We firmly believe that providing accessible housing opportunities, fostering self-sufficiency, and promoting economic development are essential foundations for progress and growth within the region. Our team is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of Idahoans, driven by a shared commitment to service excellence and community impact. As a respected and professional organization, we prioritize our employees and strive to create an inclusive and supportive work environment that empowers them to succeed and grow both personally and professionally. Joining our team means becoming part of a purpose-oriented organization that values collaboration, integrity, and dedication to community welfare.
We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable individual to join our Branch Office located in Coeur d'Alene as a Receptionist/Clerk. This is a dynamic role offering a unique opportunity to be the first point of contact for clients, landlords, and partner agencies visiting or calling our office. As a Receptionist/Clerk, you will play an integral role in providing exceptional customer service, effectively managing communications, and supporting our Rental Assistance team with vital administrative tasks. The role demands outstanding communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
In this position, you will be responsible for answering and directing incoming phone calls, responding to program inquiries, and referring calls to appropriate personnel to ensure seamless communication flow. Your duties will include processing and distributing incoming mail, maintaining accurate and up-to-date files, and assisting the public with completing pre-applications, scheduling appointments, and uploading necessary documents. You will also support the Rental Assistance team by updating system information, performing data entry tasks, and providing clerical assistance to Housing Specialists and Inspectors.
Your role extends to preparing and reviewing rental assistance documentation such as Request for Tenancy Approval (RFTA) forms and leases, managing and processing tenant payments with precision, and ensuring accurate receipting and posting. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed, reflecting the evolving priorities of our organization and the needs of the community we serve. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives on organization, possesses strong scheduling and prioritization skills, and has a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service to clients and colleagues alike.
Working with us offers an enriching environment where your contribution matters, and you can directly impact the lives of Idahoans in meaningful ways. We emphasize personal growth, professional development, and well-being, nurturing a workplace culture that values each member’s unique strengths and perspectives. If you are seeking a role that combines administrative expertise with meaningful community service in a supportive and mission-focused organization, we encourage you to apply today and join our dedicated team.
