Job Description

The Ashford of Beavercreek is part of Wallick Senior Living, a distinguished leader in senior living communities with over 1,000 dedicated employees committed to enriching the lives of seniors. Wallick Senior Living is more than just a care provider; it is an employee-owned company that prides itself on opening doors to homes, opportunity, and hope for its residents and associates alike. With a mission centered on compassionate, high-quality senior care, Wallick Senior Living fosters a supportive and collaborative work environment. This environment empowers every employee-owner to contribute meaningfully to the well-being of residents, ensuring they enjoy their golden years in comfort, dignity, and joy.

The position offered at The Ashford of Beavercreek is for a Receptionist working on a PRN (pro re nata) basis, allowing flexible on-call opportunities. The pay rate is $14.00 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to offering competitive compensation. As the first point of contact at the community, the Receptionist plays a critical role in creating positive impressions and facilitating seamless communication for residents, visitors, and staff. This role involves not only greeting visitors and managing administrative tasks but also supporting the overall operational efficiency of the facility.

The Receptionist will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming lobby area, providing general administrative assistance, sorting and distributing mail, keeping filing systems up to date, and handling resident billing payments. Additional duties include answering phones, monitoring the nursing call system, and supporting various systems as assigned. This variety of tasks requires excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and an ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

Wallick Senior Living emphasizes its unique approach to senior living by delivering services that support independence and quality of life. Associates contribute to a team-oriented culture that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, ensuring a workplace where all employees feel welcome and empowered. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance effective within two weeks of employment, as well as additional perks such as gym membership reimbursement, paid parental leave, 401K plans, and tuition reimbursement for career advancement.

Joining Wallick Senior Living means becoming part of a meaningful mission that touches lives daily, fostering connections with residents who share inspiring stories like Maurine, who found an "instant family," and Evelyn, who celebrated her 105th birthday with the community. The company supports its employees both personally and professionally with resources for training, development, and a pathway for growth while also ensuring they share in the company’s financial success as employee-owners.

By choosing to work as a Receptionist at The Ashford of Beavercreek, new team members will engage in rewarding work that impacts the daily lives of seniors, build strong relationships, and enjoy the flexibility and benefits essential for work-life balance. The organization thoroughly supports its staff through a culture that honors care, character, and collaboration. Prospective applicants will participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screening to ensure a safe and secure community environment for everyone involved.
