The role offered is for a Receptionist at the Front Entrance of Ingleside Communities. This part-time position requires a friendly, professional, and highly customer-focused individual who serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff. Working at the reception desk from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, three days a week plus every other weekend, the receptionist plays an essential role in establishing a welcoming and friendly environment, which contributes significantly to the overall resident and visitor experience. The receptionist is responsible not only for greeting visitors but also for providing administrative and clerical support to keep the facility running smoothly. This role demands strong organizational skills, dependability, compassion, and a keen commitment to exceptional customer service within a healthcare setting. Candidates will receive compensation ranging between $16.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package available.

  • Must be able to meet the public in a friendly, welcoming manner
  • Must have knowledge of office equipment and supplies
  • Must have sincere desire to work with residents, staff, visitors, and family members
  • Must be able to intermittently stand, walk, and sit 6-8 hours in an 8-hour day
  • Must be able to occasionally bend, squat, and twist body
  • Must be able to lift a maximum of 20 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects up to 10 pounds

Job Duties

  • Welcomes all visitors, applicants, staff, etc.
  • Maintains confidentiality
  • Keeps an updated room location listing at all times in order to properly direct visitors to residents' rooms
  • Directs all residents' family members, employees with specific questions or concerns to the appropriate department supervisor
  • Never gives out information regarding residents or employees, either to visitors or callers
  • Maintains a professional receptionist area at all times
  • Uses paging system professionally at all times in locating individuals or making necessary announcements
  • Performs other duties assigned by the office manager or facility administrator
