As a part of Humana's extensive Primary Care Organization, which also includes CenterWell Senior Primary Care, Conviva emphasizes an innovative, value-based approach to healthcare. Their services encompass wellness visits, physical exams, chronic condition management, screenings, minor injury treatment, and much more. Conviva strives to provide the best care precisely when patients need it most, while simultaneously ensuring cost-effectiveness. Beyond addressing physical health, Conviva also attends to the social, emotional, behavioral, and financial aspects that influence the overall well-being of its patients.

CenterWell is a distinguished healthcare services company under Humana Inc. It focuses on delivering integrated and personalized healthcare experiences centered around the patient. Recognized as one of the largest providers of senior-focused primary care, home healthcare, hospice services, and integrated pharmacy offerings, CenterWell champions a comprehensive approach to whole health that addresses physical, emotional, and social wellness. CenterWell's commitment to quality and accessibility reflects in its innovative services and its overarching mission to serve patients with compassion and precision.

The Receptionist position at Conviva Senior Primary Care is a pivotal role within the medical practice, designed to ensure seamless front desk operations and provide essential administrative support. This role demands a professional who can create a welcoming and friendly environment for patients and visitors, acting as the first point of contact for the healthcare center. Reporting directly to the Center Administrator, the receptionist will manage an array of duties including greeting patients both in person and over the phone, managing appointment schedules, coordinating with medical staff, updating electronic medical records (EMR) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems, processing billing and copayments, responding effectively to inquiries, and maintaining an organized reception area.

Working in a fast-paced healthcare setting, the receptionist plays a crucial role in facilitating communication between patients and medical providers as well as streamlining administrative workflows. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent multitasking abilities, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with software tools like Microsoft Office to efficiently manage daily office tasks. The opportunity extends to candidates with at least one year of healthcare front office experience, with additional value given to those familiar with value-based care practices and medical terminology. Bilingual candidates fluent in both English and Spanish are particularly encouraged to apply, offering enhanced communication within diverse patient communities.

This full-time, onsite role is based at the Port Orange, Florida location and operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position offers a competitive salary range of $38,000 to $45,800 per year, with eligibility for a bonus incentive plan tied to company and individual performance. As part of Humana's commitment to employee wellness, the role includes access to extensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plans, paid time off, and much more.

In addition to the rewarding work environment and comprehensive benefits, the role includes participation in Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program as a patient-facing position. Conviva Senior Primary Care is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to fostering an inclusive workforce free from discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, or other protected statuses. Overall, this opportunity promises a meaningful career in healthcare administration, played out within a supportive, mission-driven company focused on enhancing the quality of life for seniors and the community at large.
