Driven by a mission to bring hope and healing, the organization fosters an environment characterized by compassion, creativity, and collaboration. As a nationally recognized leader in mental health services, KidsPeace continues to innovate and provide comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of the populations it serves.

The Receptionist role at KidsPeace plays a crucial part in maintaining the smooth operation of a KidsPeace facility by serving as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff. This position involves managing telecommunications, greeting and directing visitors, and supporting the administrative functions of the office. A successful Receptionist will be courteous, professional, and adept at using the organization’s software systems to handle inquiries efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment and is committed to contributing to the organization’s mission by ensuring excellent front desk service.

In this position, the Receptionist will operate the telephone system by routing incoming calls, paging staff, and making outgoing calls, as well as performing client and staff inquiries through KidsPeace’s current software applications. They will greet, direct, and assist customers and visitors, providing general information with professionalism and courtesy. Additionally, the Receptionist will function as the office clearinghouse, operating and maintaining office equipment and performing light word processing tasks as required by the specific location. Through these duties, the Receptionist ensures effective communication flow and a welcoming environment, reinforcing KidsPeace’s commitment to compassionate care.

KidsPeace offers competitive compensation to its employees along with generous paid time off to support work-life balance. Additional benefits include tuition assistance and student loan forgiveness programs, making it a great opportunity for personal and professional development. The comprehensive benefits package also covers medical, dental, vision, and even pet insurance, reflecting the organization’s dedication to the health and well-being of its team members. Professional growth is encouraged through ongoing training and clear pathways for career advancement, which motivates employees to grow within the organization. The company culture values respect, collaboration, and compassion, creating a nurturing and supportive workspace.

Overall, the Receptionist position at KidsPeace is a vital role that contributes significantly to the organization’s operational success and reinforces its mission to support children and families in need.
