Cumulus Media’s Dallas division is currently seeking a part-time Receptionist to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about radio and want to work closely with some of the top radio talents in the country. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and guests, serving as a friendly and professional ambassador of Cumulus Media’s brand and values. This position requires an outgoing personality combined with flexibility, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be productive and supportive while fostering a welcoming environment for everyone entering the premises. The role is part-time with an hourly wage of $15.00, making it an excellent fit for someone looking to gain experience in a vibrant media setting or continue a career in broadcasting support. Responsibilities cover a broad range of front desk activities including answering calls, greeting guests, managing mail, supporting sales and promotions departments, and maintaining office supplies. The person in this role will contribute to the smooth operation of daily office functions and play a vital part in enhancing the listener and visitor experience at the Dallas station. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Friendly and outgoing personality
Ability to work part-time hours as scheduled

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, and computers and relevant software (Microsoft Office) and multi-line phone system

Job Duties

Greet clients, on-air guests, visitors, job applicants, and contest winners
Receive, screen and direct incoming calls to proper personnel/department and accurately take and relay messages while staying friendly and welcoming
Receive and distribute incoming mail and deliveries and add postage to outgoing mail
Provide information to listeners regarding commercials, news stories, etc.
Maintain kitchen and office supplies
Prepare lockbox deposit for checks received at front desk or via mail
Assist sales team, promotions department with remote preparation and traffic with affidavits as needed
Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by local market management
