The Receptionist position at Total Joint Center of the Northland plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our center. This role involves managing patient check-ins for same day surgeries, preparing charts for upcoming surgical cases, and interacting warmly and professionally with patients, their families, physicians, and visitors both in person and via phone. Additionally, the receptionist collects estimated patient liability payments based on insurance verification. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive demeanor, and a solid understanding of medical terminology and insurance plans. This position demands strong organizational abilities, basic math skills, and proficiency in computer use to ensure that all administrative procedures are handled efficiently and accurately.
