Job Description
We are a leading emergency restoration company based in Kern County, renowned as the number one choice for water, fire, and mold restoration services. Our organization is deeply committed to putting people first, not only in our service delivery but also as a core value within our workplace culture. We prioritize building long-term relationships by genuinely caring for our clients and our community, ensuring that every interaction is handled with professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to excellence.
Our team is known for its fast, reliable, and empathetic service, especially during emergencies when clients need support the most. We have established a strong reputation for our ability to respond promptly and effectively to restoration needs, providing peace of mind when disaster strikes. Working with us means being part of a team that values each member's contribution and focuses on collaborative success.
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Receptionist who will act as the vital first point of contact for our clients, visitors, and vendors. This role is essential as it sets the tone for the customer experience and supports the seamless operation of our office. The ideal candidate thrives in a busy and dynamic environment, possesses excellent organizational skills, and enjoys serving others with a positive and calm demeanor.
This position offers an opportunity to be part of a mission-driven company where your work directly impacts people’s lives during their time of need. You will be the friendly face and reassuring voice during emergencies, managing communications, scheduling, and various administrative tasks that keep our operations running smoothly.
As our front desk specialist, you will handle critical responsibilities including greeting clients warmly, managing incoming calls—especially those related to emergencies—with clarity and composure, coordinating appointments and service calls, maintaining the professional appearance of the reception area, and supporting the team through essential office management duties. Your role will also include managing supply inventories, handling incoming deliveries efficiently, and serving as a communication bridge between field technicians and management.
The position is part-time, catering to professionals who may be balancing other commitments but still want to contribute meaningfully to a vibrant work environment. We offer competitive hourly compensation along with paid sick leave, in full compliance with California state law. There is a strong emphasis on a supportive, team-oriented culture that feels like a family, providing opportunities for personal and professional growth within the company.
If you are a diligent, organized individual who enjoys helping others and thrives on being an indispensable support within a busy team, this role is perfect for you. Joining us means becoming part of a company that is committed to making a real difference while fostering a workplace that values your skills and ambitions. Apply now to be the calm in the storm and help us restore peace of mind—one call at a time.
