The Part-Time to Full-Time Receptionist role at Champion Home Builders' manufacturing facility in Lake City, FL offers an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team that truly values its employees. This position is initially part-time, requiring 24 hours per week, with potential for transition to full-time hours. Specifically, the schedule includes Monday through Thursday from 1 to 5 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with a one-hour lunch break. The hourly pay rate for this non-exempt position is $16 per hour. As a vital front-line representative, the receptionist supports the Administrative Assistant by managing a wide variety of clerical tasks that ensure smooth office operations. Key responsibilities include answering and directing incoming calls, managing voicemail messages, distributing mail, handling correspondence flow, requisitioning office supplies, and providing general clerical support such as filing, copying, and collating. The receptionist also warmly welcomes visitors, answers inquiries about the organization, and provides directions and essential information to callers.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service abilities, a professional telephone manner, and strong attention to detail. Job Duties

  • Retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel
  • answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department
  • takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable
  • answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information
  • welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel
  • receives, sorts, and routes mail, and maintains and routes publications
  • performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating and assisting the Administrative Assistant in any additional tasks as needed
