This position is for a Receptionist who will serve as the initial point of contact for all visitors both in person and via telephone. The Receptionist will play a vital role in greeting guests warmly and professionally, managing communication systems such as phone and paging, and supporting the facility's administrative tasks. This role requires someone who is not only proficient in clerical skills but also knowledgeable about healthcare regulatory standards and Life Care policies. The Receptionist is expected to exhibit a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team. The position is part-time, covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts, with a wage range of $15 to $18 per hour. Responsibilities also include assisting in emergency evacuations and maintaining confidentiality of all sensitive information. Attendance reliability and adherence to company codes of conduct are critical. The ideal candidate will have experience in clerical roles or relevant education and demonstrate strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically in Word, Excel, and email management. Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completed a secretarial science program or have minimum six months clerical experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Knowledgeable of healthcare laws and regulations
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Ability to implement and interpret department policies
- Maintain confidentiality
- Adherence to company policies
- Strong communication skills
- Regular dependable attendance
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and walking

Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successfully completed a secretarial science program from accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Knowledgeable of the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post acute care facilities
- Ability to independently make decisions when appropriate
- Maintain professional working relationships with associates and vendors
- Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information
- Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
- Display integrity and professionalism according to Life Care Code of Conduct
- Complete mandatory Code of Conduct and compliance training
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person and phone
- Operate the facility phone and paging system
