Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Completed a secretarial science program or have minimum six months clerical experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Knowledgeable of healthcare laws and regulations
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Ability to implement and interpret department policies
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Adherence to company policies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Regular dependable attendance
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and walking
  • Proficiency in English language

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Successfully completed a secretarial science program from accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Knowledgeable of the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post acute care facilities
  • Ability to independently make decisions when appropriate
  • Maintain professional working relationships with associates and vendors
  • Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information
  • Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
  • Display integrity and professionalism according to Life Care Code of Conduct
  • Complete mandatory Code of Conduct and compliance training

Job Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person and phone
  • Operate the facility phone and paging system
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude
  • Assist in the evacuation of patients
  • Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
  • Use reasoning skills and good judgment
  • Communicate and work productively on an interdisciplinary team
