This opportunity is for a Receptionist position at Farah & Farah, where the individual will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for all visitors and callers to the firm.   • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to successfully communicate with the public other employees and vendors
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and ability to exercise sound judgment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with various levels of staff and management
  • Familiarity with general office equipment such as fax machines copiers and printers

Job Duties

  • Welcoming on-site guests determine nature of business and announces guest to appropriate personnel
  • Answering incoming telephone calls determining purpose of callers and forwarding calls to appropriate personnel or department
  • Taking and delivering messages or transferring calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable
  • Scheduling meetings travel plans and conference rooms for attorneys clients and vendors
  • Assist the legal teams with clerical duties to include faxing copying and organizing maintaining files
  • Ensure main voicemail reflects office closings special events as well as posting office closed signs
  • Answering questions about organization and provides callers with address directions and other information requested
  • Receiving and forwarding incoming faxes
  • Receives sorts and distributes office mail
  • Ensure compliance to all company policies procedures and expectations
  • Support administrative and special projects requirements as assigned
