The current opening at Carillon Senior Living is for a Receptionist position, offering an hourly pay range of $13 to $15. This role operates on a three-week rotating schedule with shifts from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., covering Sunday through Saturday variations. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for anyone entering the community, embodying the organization's culture of hospitality by greeting residents, visitors, staff, and vendors in a warm, courteous, and professional manner. Your primary responsibilities will include managing incoming calls, providing information and guidance as needed, and performing general clerical duties vital to the smooth running of the community office.
The Receptionist's duties go beyond simple phone answering. You will engage directly with residents and guests to resolve issues tactfully and efficiently, enhancing the overall experience within the community. You will handle administrative tasks such as logging package deliveries, preparing maintenance requests, and managing messages and appointments professionally. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- At least six months office clerical experience preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
- Excellent telephone, oral, and written communication skills
- Skilled in the use of all business machines and personal computers
- Ability to handle multiple routine tasks and follow instructions thoroughly

Job Duties
- Answer and transfer all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Provide information, direction, and assistance to residents, staff, guests, and vendors
- Receive and greet all persons entering the community
- Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers tactfully
- Utilize computer programs, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, and postage machine
- Accept delivery packages and notify recipients
- Prepare maintenance work orders as requested
- Assist with projects and assignments
- Open and close reception desk and secure office files and equipment
- Communicate messages promptly and clearly
- Accept and record payments, reservations, and appointments
- Attend training and education sessions as assigned
- Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned
